Philippine Diplomat Killed In Malaysia
Malaysian police are now investigating the killing of Philippine diplomat who was apparently bludgeoned to death in his apartment.
The Malaysian Foreign Ministry said Finardo Cabilao, the social welfare attache at the Philippine Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, was found dead by embassy officials in his home on Friday after he failed to show up for work.
The ministry said in a statement it has told police "to make the investigation a priority and to resolve it as soon as possible."
It said that Malaysian authorities are constantly trying to ensure the safety of diplomats but urges them to maintain measures to safeguard their safety
