Web Designers Trying To Kill Internet Explorer 6
Web designers are staging an online revolt against an old version of Microsoft's Internet Explorer browser, which they say is hampering the ability of the Web to move forward in a cool and interactive way.
The designers say Internet Explorer 6, which was released in 2001 and since has been updated twice by Microsoft Corp., is crippling the Internet's potential and slowing down the online experience.

Mehsud's Death A Blow To Taliban Leadership
Taliban chief Baitullah Mehsud, who has a $5 million (Dh18.3 million) US bounty on his head, was probably killed with his wife and bodyguards in a drone missile attack two days ago.
An intelligence officer in South Waziristan said that Mehsud's funeral had already taken place, while Pakistani media cited their own security sources, saying Mehsud was dead.

Philippine Diplomat Killed In Malaysia
Malaysian police are now investigating the killing of Philippine diplomat who was apparently bludgeoned to death in his apartment.
The Malaysian Foreign Ministry said Finardo Cabilao, the social welfare attache at the Philippine Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, was found dead by embassy officials in his home on Friday after he failed to show up for work.

A 32-year-old Saudi man was arrested after he appeared on an Arabic satellite channel and discussed his sexual experiences, his favorite sex toys and how he lost his virginity to a neighbor at the age of 14.
His name is Mazen Abdul Jawad described how he picked up women in the ultra-conservative Muslim Kingdom, brought them to his bedroom and had sex with them.

2 Journalist Pardoned By North Korea Upon Clinton Visit
Former President Bill Clinton brought two freed U.S. journalists out of North Korea early Wednesday following rare talks with reclusive leader Kim Jong Il, who pardoned the women sentenced to hard labor for entering the country illegally.
Euna Lee and Laura Ling were heading back to the U.S. with Clinton, his spokesman Matt McKenna said, less than 24 hours after the former U.S. leader landed in the North Korean capital on a private, humanitarian trip to secure their release.

New Strain of HIV Virus Found in Cameroon
A new strain of the virus that causes AIDS has been discovered in a woman from the African nation of Cameroon.
It differs from the three known strains of human immunodeficiency virus and appears to be closely related to a form of simian virus recently discovered in wild gorillas, researchers report in Monday’s edition of the journal Nature Medicine.

26 Passengers Injured Of Plane Turbulence
Continental Airlines jet carrying 179 people from Brazil to Texas hit severe turbulence over the Atlantic early Monday, injuring at least 26 — including four seriously — and forcing an emergency landing in Miami.
Continental Flight 128 drop without warning while flight attendants were in the aisles. Some were thrown against the roof.

Deployment To War Torn Country
It was painful scenario if you see couples saying goodbye to one another. It is hard for those who's love ones are leaving for job abroad like me, for couples who said goodbyes because they broke up and don't love each other anymore. But there's nothing more painfull for someone who's newly wed husband/wife leaving for War.
Here a couple, married just over a month, exchange half of a pewter coin, symbolizing fidelity(semper fi), during a ceremony at Fort Stewart, Georgia. The soldiers deploy to Afghanistan early next week.

Boxer Arturo Gatti’s death was ruled a suicide by police Thursday and his wife, once suspected of killing the former champion, was released from jail.
Rio De Janeiro police investigator said Gatti decided killed himself on July 11 while at a seaside resort in northeastern Brazil.
