Ex-Boxing Champ Vernon Forrest Shot Dead
Vernon Forrest the boxer who first defeated Shane Mosley was shot dead Saturday night at the gas station.
The 1992 Olympian stopped at a gas station to put air in his car tires when a man asked for money. When he pulled his wallet out, the man snatched it and started running, and Forrest took off after him.
The guy turned the corner and Vernon didn’t see him. He turned around to go back to the car. That ‘s when he started firing.

Finally Pacquiao agreed to fight Miguel Cotto at 145lbs weight on Nov.14. Bob Arum sealed the catch weight during an interview. Initially Pacquiao's camp don't want to go up to 145lbs. But Let's face it!! This is million dollars fight and no body wants to blow it off, I expected even before that this fight will be sealed because these are Arum guys.
